Trying your hand at growing dahlia seedlings is a fun and fantastic opportunity for any home gardener, budding hybridizer or dahlia enthusiast! With seeds sourced directly from our very own secluded seedling patch, there's a delightful surprise waiting as you could cultivate a beautiful variety of colors and forms.

The local and native honeybees do all the work of pollination, we just collect the mature seed heads and meticulously harvest and sort the seeds to ensure maximum germination in the coming season.

Each seed packet will contain a minimum of 30 dahlia seeds.  The origination of these seeds come exclusively from blooms in our heritage dahlia field.  These are dahlias grown from tubers of known/ named varieties including varieties from these hybridizers: AC, Allen's Alpen, Bloomquist, Blyton, Bracken, Camano, Chimicum, Clearview, Coseytown, Elks, Ferncliff, Hapet, Hollyhill, Hy, Irish, Jowey, KA, Lakeview, Mission, Normandy, River's Robann, Salish, Sandia, Skipley, Snoho, Valley, Verrone's Wyn's and many others without the hybridizer prefix . . . Just to name a few!
