Clearview Emma - Fall

$18.00

Clearview Emma is one of those dahlias that gets better as you watch it mature. The blooms often begin in a warm orange tone and gradually soften into glowing gold, giving the plant a beautiful range of color over the course of the season.

Its miniature formal decorative form gives each bloom a tidy, polished shape, with petals layered neatly around a strong center. At roughly 3¾ inches across, Clearview Emma is also a very practical size for cutting—small enough to tuck easily into mixed bouquets, but substantial enough to carry color and structure on its own.

In our market bouquets, I love using Emma when I want warmth without going too far into rust or deep autumn tones. It pairs beautifully with cream, peach, blush, burgundy, soft yellow, and coppery shades, and its changing color makes it especially useful as the season shifts.

For our local florists, this is the kind of flower that earns its keep. The blooms are tidy, floriferous, and carried on easy stems, and growers note that the centers hold especially well late in the season. That makes it a very appealing choice for event work and florist buckets.

I also like Clearview Emma for wedding work when the palette calls for warmth that still feels refined. The golden-orange tones can brighten softer romantic designs or bring a little light into richer burgundy and rust combinations.

What I appreciate most about Clearview Emma is that it gives you more than one color story from the same plant. Early blooms can feel warmer and more orange, while later flowers often settle into a beautiful golden tone.

For the gardener who loves compact blooms, polished form, and warm color that evolves through the season, Clearview Emma is a wonderful variety to grow.
