Clearview Tammy - Fall

$11.00

Clearview Tammy is one of those white dahlias that brings much more to a bouquet than simply a neutral color. The blooms are a clean, bright white, but the long pointed petals give each flower movement and texture that make it feel anything but plain.

Its semi-cactus form creates a full, lightly spiky silhouette, and at approximately 6–8 inches across, Clearview Tammy has enough size to function as a true focal flower. The blooms are substantial, but the narrower petals keep them from feeling overly heavy or formal.

In our market bouquets, I love using Tammy when I want to brighten the entire bunch. White has a way of making the colors around it look even richer, and this variety pairs beautifully with blush, lavender, peach, burgundy, dusty rose, and just about every other color coming out of the field.

For our local florists, Clearview Tammy is especially useful because it offers both scale and texture. One or two blooms can add real presence to a centerpiece or larger arrangement, while the semi-cactus petals bring a completely different shape alongside ball and decorative dahlias.

This is also exactly the kind of white dahlia I appreciate having available for wedding work. In an all-white or white-and-green design, the pointed petals keep the arrangement from feeling too uniform. Mixed into blush, mauve, or deeper berry palettes, those bright white blooms create contrast and give the whole design a little breathing room.

What I appreciate most about Clearview Tammy is that it is both classic and interesting. The color is timeless, but the flower form gives it enough personality to stand out in the cutting bucket.

For the gardener who loves crisp white flowers, substantial blooms, and a dahlia that brings beautiful texture to the vase, Clearview Tammy is a wonderful variety to grow.
